Anjuman halt Sir Mutha unbeaten run as competition intensifies in the group stages

The BOOST-Chennaiyin FC Football Championship saw some intense encounters played out on day ten, with the competition now inching towards the business end.

Anjuman Matriculation H.S.S. U-13s continued their phenomenal run of scoring five or more goals in each of their games so far, by beating Sir Mutha School 5-0. Md. Rasheed was at the double along with Alqamar as Anjuman brought Sir Mutha’s unbeaten run to an end. Md. Rasheed taking his tally in the competition to six goals.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kilpauk U-13s outclassed hosts Doveton School, Vepery by a three goal margin. While in the last U-13 tie of the day, it finished goalless between PSBB, Siruseri and St. Patrick’s High School.

M.C.C. H.S.S. U-15s continued their winning run in the tournament with a 1-0 win over Sathyamurthi High School. Sthevan yet again on the scoresheet for MCC, this his sixth goal of the competition as well.

Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram U-15s succumbed to their first defeat of the tournament, outplayed 3-0 by Vidya Mandir. As it finished 0-0 between Chennai Public School U-15s and Chettinad Vidyashram U-15s.
