The Chennaiyin FC U-15 team was launched along with the U-18 and U-13 age-group teams on the club's third birthday on August 28, 2017. They compete in the Hero Junior League (formerly AIFF U-15 National Youth League) and other football tournaments in their age group.
The CFC U-15 boys have also performed well in local tournaments. They lifted the DBYC Fr. Mohanraj Memorial U16 Tournament in Chennai in August 2018 and finished as runners-up in the International Cup of Joy 2018 in Coimbatore. The entire CFC U-15 squad is comprised of boys only from Tamil Nadu as it is the club's constant endeavor to promote talent from the state and create a solid pyramid of talent that goes up to the senior team.
