Here are the excerpts from the interview.
Within five minutes, the game changed completely. How does it feel to win Hero ISL 2015?
It feels amazing. It was an interesting outcome. Everyone played well. When we conceded the second time, we thought we couldn’t make it. But thanks to all our efforts, we came back and clinched the title. It’s a great feeling.
Your performance this season has been consistent. What would you attribute that to?
I’d like to thank Allah and my supporters and well-wishers who have always encouraged me. I, too, have worked hard for this on every front. I hope that this love keeps coming in from all corners for the times ahead as well.
