Chennai, July 31, 2026: Chennaiyin FC have completed the signing of Serbian midfielder Nikola Stojanović, adding experience and quality to the club’s midfield ahead of the upcoming season.

The 31-year-old arrives with a wealth of experience and is expected to strengthen Chennaiyin FC’s midfield with his composure, leadership and technical ability.

A product of the famed FK Partizan academy in Serbia, Nikola began his professional career in Europe, featuring for clubs in Greece, Serbia, Belarus and Montenegro before making the move to India in 2021. He enjoyed successful spells with Mohammedan Sporting and Gokulam Kerala in the I-League before playing a pivotal role in Inter Kashi’s historic I-League-winning campaign in 2024-25, finishing as the club’s top scorer. His performances earned him a move to the Indian Super League with Jamshedpur FC, where he further showcased his quality at the highest level of Indian football. A composed and versatile midfielder, Nikola now brings a wealth of experience, leadership and a winning mentality to Chennaiyin FC as the Marina Machans gear up for the new season.
