Taking a walk at the Madras Crocodile Bank before our southern derby against KBFC!
This one should bring back some fond memories. We all loved the day trips to the Madras Crocodile Park from school. FYI, it is the largest crocodile bank in India.ย

But like so many institutions, COVID has not spared this haven to 17 species of crocodiles and 2,000 reptiles including the Komodo dragon.ย
The bank made 50 per cent of itโs revenue through ticket sales. But that has obviously stopped since the beginning of the pandemic, putting at risk the upkeep of itโs residents.ย
There are however, efforts ongoing to revive this reptilian wonderland. Virtual tours and adoptions are just two of the many options available on their website. To help out or learn more:ย www.madrascrocodilebank.com
