Chennaiyin FC Power Up with Simple Energy as Mobility Partner for ISL 2026

Chennai, February 23, 2026: Chennaiyin FC have announced a partnership with Simple Energy, an Indian-origin electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, who join the Marina Machans as the club’s official Mobility Partner for the Indian Super League 2026 season.

Under the agreement, Simple Energy will receive prominent brand integration across Chennaiyin FC’s match and training ecosystem, including placement on the back of the team’s match and training shorts. The brand will also feature during LIVE home fixtures through LED perimeter boards and select in-stadia assets at the Marina Arena, ensuring consistent visibility across the season.

The association will further extend to digital integrations across the club’s official platforms, alongside access to select club brand assets and player interaction opportunities.

Speaking on the partnership, Chennaiyin FC’s COO Akhil Prakash said, “We’re pleased to welcome Simple Energy as our Official Mobility Partner. As a future-focused brand from India, Simple Energy aligns strongly with Chennaiyin FC’s values of performance, innovation, and responsibility. This partnership allows us to strengthen our sustainability narrative while engaging young, urban fans across Tamil Nadu in meaningful ways—both on and off the pitch.”

The collaboration brings together two youth-oriented, forward-looking brands operating in different but increasingly converging spaces. Chennaiyin FC, a longstanding presence in the Indian football landscape with a strong regional following, align with a company that positions itself at the forefront of sustainable mobility. Simple Energy’s performance-driven electric scooters—including the Simple One and Simple OneS—reflect a wider push towards innovation-led, high-performance solutions built for a new generation.

Commenting on the occasion, Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO, Simple Energy, stated, “Chennaiyin FC stands for ambition and a strong connection with its community—values that mirror how we build at Simple Energy. Mobility, like football, is driven by momentum and belief. This partnership reflects our commitment to Tamil Nadu and to empowering fans and riders with performance-driven technology built for real-world India. Together with Chennaiyin FC, we want the next generation to Ride Untamed—on the pitch, on the road, and beyond.”

Simple Energy opened its Chennai store in 2025 and today operates 15 stores across Tamil Nadu, underscoring its continued commitment to the state. For Simple Energy, the partnership offers access to a deeply engaged football audience across Tamil Nadu, while for Chennaiyin FC, it reinforces the club’s alignment with forward-looking partners committed to long-term impact and evolving fan communities.

The partnership will be visible throughout the ISL 2026 campaign, beginning with Chennaiyin FC’s upcoming fixtures, as both organisations look to drive performance on the pitch and beyond.
