Chennai, 23/07/2026: Chennaiyin FC have completed the signing of Indian defender Namgyal Bhutia, adding further depth and quality to the squad ahead of the upcoming season.
The 26-year-old arrives after spending the last six seasons with Bengaluru FC, where he established himself as a dependable option across the back line. Since making his Indian Super League debut in the 2020-21 season, Namgyal has made over 40 ISL appearances, showcasing his versatility as a full-back. He began his professional career with Indian Arrows in the 2017-18 IFL season.
Speaking after completing his move, Namgyal Bhutia said:
